I never stayed in an inn and the Kearsarge Inn was a beautiful representation of what a inn would be like. Our room was clean, had a refrigerator in it and most of all bed was so comfortable ! Location was also great walking distance to the Conway Scenic Railroad and the shops.

This property was better than expected. Lots of updates to the decor. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great stay for our anniversary weekend. Pet friendly so next trip we will bring our pup. Will stay here again!!

Staff was very friendly, the room was perfectly clean and mostly comfortable with a truly impressive bathroom, and the location is just far enough off the main drag to be quiet but walkable. However... The pull-down shades on my two windows didn't span the full width of their windows, and one of them also had a completely uncovered semi-circle window above it, facing another building where the upstairs unit and I could easily see each other through my window. Personally I prefer complete privacy, especially on a solo trip like this one was, but if you're into exhibition or voyeurism maybe that's a plus. Partially covered windows also meant bright morning light, and I like to sleep in when I travel. The room also didn't have a comfortable way to sit and eat the meal I brought with me. There was a comfy armchair and a lovely antique sofa, but no good way to sit there and eat except out of my lap. The dining issue is pretty minor, but I definitely wouldn't stay again unless I have an upstairs room and/or they update their window coverings.
