"Overall, I had a good stay at RIU Reggae in Montego Bay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. While you would expect the front desk to be more welcoming, the rest of the staff, including the bartenders, entertainment team, and restaurant staff, were amazing, friendly, and really made the experience enjoyable. The entertainment were definitely highlight of the trip. As for the food, the buffet was much better than the specialty restaurants. The restaurant food wasn’t as fresh or as impressive, while the buffet had better variety and overall quality. Overall, a fun stay with great vibes, but the restaurant food could be improved."

"Beautiful resort! But… it needs much improvement. If your (African American) this property will not cater to you at all. I had to call on many different occasions to clean the room or ask for towels. Some staff were semi aggressive from asking basic things. Having traveled to other countries, we’d expect vacation service, not al la carte service as everyone expected a tip for basic things. Don’t think I would take my family here again. It’s also very far from the airport. "

"too crowded and need more help there and people at desk needs to supply with all information at the time of check in no one is there to help you with your luggage to take to room and always have excuses for everthing so my first time at RIU and not that great of an experience. "Internet was fine. Towels and room service good. Food was also good at dining room and jerk center. Need more time slots for restaurant dining. Staff was great. List my beach hat and retrieved at list and found at Front desk. Overall it was a very positive experience."
