「The Mariner is a great place to stay. Our room had an ocean view and beach access right on the property. The room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay at the Mariner the next time we visit the Outer Banks.」

「You can’t tell this place is a motel based on the photos, but it is. I find it to be very deceiving how they make an effort to avoid showing the outside of the building. You drive up to all the rooms, including rooms in the back which feel very unsafe when you’re traveling alone. It is located in a poorly lit parking lot that is fenced in and had plenty of strange wanderers roaming the property. I felt very unsafe and scared, and the staff did not ease my worries either. They were rather rude....
