"Such a cozy, well-appointed place! The perfect size and location for what we needed. No need for a car—we were walking distance from downtown Raleigh, and a quick scooter/bike ride from the bus station to get to Durham. Strolling the historic Oakwood neighborhood in the morning was lovely. Definitely check out the brunch at Longleaf Swine right on the corner—it blew us away. We couldn’t wait to get back to The Acorn at the end of a long day. And as coffee people, we especially appreciated the Aeropress in the kitchen, which allowed us to brew some of the beans we picked up at Jubala (which was an incredible local roaster and coffee shop). Would definitely book again the next time we are in the area."
"This place was stunning on the inside and out. We were spoiled staying here at such an amazing property. It was clean, comfortable, never ending closet space, noise machines in each room, cookware… anything you could think of, this house had it. Would definitely stay here again! "
