"Lovely refurbished building. Our room was unique; a door off the entry that took you to a small sitting room and stairs up to the bed and bath. Very nice; comfortable bed, good ventilation, great shower and a sitting area balcony overlooking the garden and restaurant. They offer a lovely buffet breakfast and Annabella and staff were very accommodating. And we discovered how incredible the restaurant, Jangal, is. Incredible menu, newly opened. Truly a great experience not to be missed. "

"The property was in a great location, walkable to all the local tourist spots, but set a little bit away from the hustle and bustle perfect escape from the noise at night. The breakfast offered both hot and cold foods with a good selection of both. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, especially Peter. I highly recommend this hotel."

"The Castelo Santa Caterina is a truly unique and comfortable piece of Porto history that is worth considering for your Porto visit. The castle retains its original historical charm from the period decorations to the furniture. The rooms are tastefully decorated with a modern bathroom and comfortable bed. "Had a very light flight (which was also delayed!) So we decided to stay by the airport rather than trying to get in to Porto at gone midnight. Great decision! The hotel is clean, comfortable, the young chap on reception was really friendly helpful and efficient even at 1:15am. The hotel takes 6 minutes to walk to from arrivals so couldn’t be more convenient. I would highly recommend it if you have similar circumstances"

"I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The concierge service was the best I’ve ever had in all of my travels. The hotel was in a construction zone, but somehow they made it feel like an oasis. The dining room is beautiful but excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. "
