Our favorite place we stayed in all of Portugal. Casa Nova Farmhouse is beautifully designed and family managed with great passion. The amenities are fantastic (pool, parking, included breakfast, etc.) and the room was great with a comfortable bed. Location is excellent for getting cheap quick Uber rides into Braga and Uber eats food delivery was easy. The owner was a very gracious host and we would return to Braga just to stay at Casa Nova Farmhouse again for even longer!

We had a fantastic stay. It was low season and the owners treated us like family. The food was great, the room was nice though so be aware the open concept means the shower and toilet are basically in the same room.

The hosts are most gracious, lovely people and most hospitable. The breakfast was amazing.

good location to explore, gracious host who provided us an excellent breakfast an hour earlier than scheduled each day. much appreciated. beds were super comfortable and property was quiet.

My family (2 adults, 1 child) really enjoyed the beauty, tranquility, and rich culture and history of this part of the Douro Valley. Maria was a wonderful host, and she was especially helpful in finding a particular, fairly new viewpoint in the Douro Valley and just in providing helpful information for things to do and things to eat. We really want to come back when we choose to visit Portugal again in the future.

The place was really quiet and the view was stunning. The breakfast was really good as well with most food being locally sourced. The Panoramic Villa was nice, there was a bit of a misunderstanding at first when the host showed us the Villa but was resolved afterwards. Also the shower seemed to be stucked to really hot temperature but adding a little force to the other side of the fosset did fix it to more reasonable temperatures.

Our stay at Casa do Rio was exceptional. There are 10 rooms with stunning views of the Douro River and vineyards. Our room was spotless and tastefully decorated, and we were welcomed with a plate of fresh figs and white port and all ingredients to make portonics. The grounds are lovely with an infinity pool overlooking the river and two semi private fresh water dunking pools. The food and was outstanding! We made our dinner selections earlier in the day and were treated to an exquisite...

Hotel precioso y tranquilo en un entorno fantástico. Restaurante espectacular. Personal muy amable. Algunos servicios podrían mejorar.

Wonderful stay. Would stay again.

Last minute spontaneous stop turned into an epic surprise at this gem of a B&B.

It’s a gorgeous property and the family who run it are very friendly. Lots of spaces for us to enjoy, and we used all of them!

We had a wonderful two nights at this peaceful oasis. The silo rooms are charming, clean, and comfortable, with beautiful views. Joao, the host, was accommodating, friendly, and welcoming. The food was great, really good breakfast, and a nice selection of snacks and wines on the lovely terrace. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great dinner.well maintained garden with a pool

Absolutely wonderful. Excellent service from Isabelle and Antonio. The views are gorgeous; the breakfast was delicious. Everything was so elegant. I cannot say enough about this exquisite property. A treasure.

Amazing location and views, wish we had time to stay longer. Can't wait to come back

The place was magical, the staff was kind, the room was spacious and clean, and the facilities were also very comfortable and good, and we enjoyed it.
