"Wonderful homestay in peaceful setting We booked two bamboo huts at Cast Away for our family and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hospitality from Panit and his parents was very special. You can see that the family really care about their guests. Three home cooked meals were provided as part of the (inexpensive) room rate, and the food was simply outstanding! So much delicious Thai food! We felt very welcome. We wish we stayed longer, and next time we will. It was fun to hire cycles and explore...

We were arriving after 1:00 a.m. and there were clear instructions as to how to gain entry to the building and what room and how to use the room keys to get in. They are staffed from 8:00 to 5:00 everyday and breakfast is free. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic! We will stay here every time we come to town"

"Of the roughly 40 Bangkok hotels I’ve stayed at over 30 years, this is by far my favorite. My room was an excellent value: a very comfortable bed with perfect pillows, a fantastic shower with a seated area and consistently hot water, a large desk, a dining table, and a wonderful city view. The internet was fast—at least 40 Mbps—and I appreciated being able to connect my own device to the TV through HDMI. Room service was excellent; the food arrived with every condiment and detail needed. Check-in and checkout were both exceptionally smooth. The bell staff were helpful, and everyone I encountered was genuinely friendly. I did not use the pool or eat in the restaurant, so I can’t comment on those. The location is hard to beat for a luxury stay in central Bangkok. Terminal 21 shopping is directly connected, including convenient currency exchange, and the nearby BTS and MRT connections make it easy to get almost anywhere. Sukhumvit is busy, as expected, but the convenience more than makes up for it. Excellent hotel and outstanding value."

"The rooms were really nice and we were able to make a last minute reservation. We paid extra for the breakfast and it was okay but not anything to write home about. Staff were really nice and helpful. We probably wouldn't stay again because we like breakfast to be included in our stays and other places definitely have better breakfast."

"Things we liked. View over the river from our room. The breakfast was amazing (probably best we’ve experienced in all our travels). Watching fireworks sitting at the Long Bar. The location. The pool. The staff are incredible. The shuttle to Icon Siam. And although not part of the hotel, a beer and food at Jack’s Bar next door! There was absolutely nothing not to like. Superb hotel."

"On checking in we found no towels in the room and, on checking the bed, found hairs in it. However, when we asked, the sheets were changed and later that night they gave us towels so we were happy with a good response. The buffet breakfast was excellent with friendly staff and we enjoyed the rooftop pool. Aircon and comfort were good. The location on Soi Rambuttri is excellent. We have actually booked in for another one night stay on our return to Bangkok as we were overall very happy with this accommodation."
