"Mut Mee Gardens is exactly what I hoped for in a tropical guesthouse. The rooms were well-cared for and accommodating, without ostentation. It's a casual place where you easily can spend the day lounging on your room's veranda or under a common palapa in the gardens. The gardens, and most rooms, face the promenade along the Mekong, so you can walk - or borrow one of their bikes - for miles along the river, and there's little if any motor vehicle noise. The street markets are nearby, either along the promenade or a couple blocks inland. There's a very friendly resident dog and a couple of cats. Mosquitoes are present, of course, but each room has a mosquito net for the bed, as well as aircon. Food is good; coffee could use some attention. It's a lovely garden and inn."

"This property is a mixed bag. Started off well when manager bought a hit water kettle for morning coffee when I asked about one in my room. But problems built over two weeks. Key cards failed 3 times. Air Con failed in last night. BTW I lost one of the key cards through a hole in my pocket, and was charged a ludicrous 400 baht for it. On two nights, neighbors packed in an adjacent room had loud drunken parties late into the evening. Eventually management did quiet them down, but, having already had to change rooms due to loud wrecking ball construction outside my window, I wasn’t in the mood. There is no elevator to the upper floors. The “balconies” are just a 2x2 outdoor space where smokers can do their thing - no chair, no table, and definitely no view. The price was reasonable, but it’s quite easy to find better for the same or less. The location is very good, a short walk to great little riverfront walking street, 7/11, ATMs, and excellent night street food."

"I have stayed here many times now and am always happy, safe, and comfortable here. Breakfast is good and the lady working there in the morning is very accommodating to requests. Front desk personnel are also outstanding. Location very good and one street away from activity so much quieter than other nearby hotels. It's not a 5-star hotel so have reasonable expectations. Very good value for the money. Highly recommend."
