"Staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient, about 10 mins walk to the largest transportation station and tourists area. Noise isolation is ok as we can hear the noise from the corridor whenever there's people walk by or open/close the door."

"Really great hotel experience staying here for our first time in Tokyo. The room was clean and comfortable and the amenities and service were great. The breakfast is phenomenal and worth the extra cost. The 7/11 in the basement was very convenient and we used it multiple times a day. I will say that this hotel is in the business/west side of Shinjuku, which is not touristy. The east side of Shinjuku is where all the tourist and shopping stuff is and is about a 20-30 walk away. But that does mean this area is very quiet. There are close train stations but there isn’t a ton to do really close to the hotel besides Chuo park, which is nice. The bed is super hard, but that is typical for Japan. There is also a thermostat, which we did not find until our last night lol. So don’t just rely on the fan on the ground like we did."

"The property is old; on the floors you can feel smell coming from old carpets that were cleaned numerous times. The rooms are very small, there are no places to accommodate your luggage, no cabinets. This so called hotel looks more like an Air B&B created by a group of students who want to learn how to run a hotel. The final straw was their "continental breakfast" that consisted of rice bought at a convenient store which guests should prepare by themselves using a provided rice cooker. Also provided is a piece of refrigerated packed salmon, which was salty, and guests need to warm it up in a provided microwave oven. The "hotel" call this breakfast and charges about $20 per day. Absolutely no taste and waste of money. Better to go to a nearby Denny's Cafe. But they provide free coffee, water. The "hotel" is more or less clean. The bathrooms are clean. They even put a washing machine in every room. The lobby is very tiny. I understand that in Tokyo real estate is very, very expensive. They charge guests less per night than big network hotels. In New York city I paid similar amount staying in a Marriott hotel. It was not possible to change the hotel because there were no vacant rooms in̈ nearby hotels like Hilton, Hyatt Regency with much hire rates per night. The area is excellent, quiet and green, even I would say upscale. The subway is close."

"This lavish property was a sight to behold. The breakfast bar was great. The best part about this property was the design. I think other properties had better value and many elements here were quite expensive. You could get a much more valuable and authentic dinner off property. But the staff were professional and courteous. A safe place to start your Tokyo adventure."
