"Such a cute place to stay. I stayed for a night coming back from Annupuri since it’s the closest resort to the hotel. Staff were so sweet to explain the facility in english. My room was super clean and so were the shared showers and washroom. All the amenities were there for use. They have snow equipment storage. Highly recommend for solo travellers! "Bathrooms are shared but everything else about this location is lovely. The staff is wonderful. The convenience to shops, restaurants, and the ski mountain are excellent. The breakfast was good and the pleasant common area was a great place to meet people, relax, and enjoy. The rooms are simple but pleasant and there's even storage for ski/snowboard equipment. I will definitely return."

"This was our third stay at Freedom Inn. We love the location within walking distance to the ski field but away from touristy Hirafu. They have a great pick up drop off shuttle service which can take you to dinner in either Hirafu or Kutchan. Try Kutchan for a more authentic japanese experience. You can even stop by an onsen on the way! There also is a free shuttle to/from the ski lifts. The rooms are very spaceous and there is an onsen/ouffro on site too. The photos don't really do this place...

"An extraordinary experience. A two story room! Cozy hosts, a heated basement for ski equipment, only 4 min walk away from the lifts and ski rental. The only nuisance is that there are only two showers at the bottom and sometimes they are taken. There is a laundry room downstairs with coin laundry. The heater is too intense and partially melted my suitcase…be careful. Otherwise lovely stay. "

"The townhome was nice. Very clean and the reception desk & staff were extremely helpful & very timely when we called. Spacious home, heated floors very cozy. The shuttle service was good however being that it’s a little out of the city it would be more convenient to have a rental car. Wonderful & relaxing family holiday. "Our group of 10 people enjoyed our stay at this amazing property. Very beautiful home and surroundings, gracious guest, very close to ski resorts, and a wonderful van was very helpful to explore the local area. The home was very clean and well stocked. Highly recommend."

"Communication with Banff was very good. Room was everything I could have expected, having our own bathroom and bath was a bonus. My only qualm is that the beds were a bit old and that the couch in the room just took up a lot of space when trying to sort out our massive ski bags… overall very happy with the stay!"
