囲炉裏で夕食が食べれるので、どこかの時代にタイムスリップしたような気分になりました。 朝食もあの場所で食べたかったですが、別の場所でした。 宿も歴史を感じる宿でした。 一緒に行った旦那もお食事、お風呂ともに喜んでいたので良かったです。 また機会があればいきたいと思います。

It is a very small hotel in a very quiet small town. We didn't feel very impressed when we first saw the hotel. After we checked in and went to our onsen, it was so amazing and then our fantastic dinner. It was Wows!!! Everything was so perfect, relaxing and so peaceful. We also felt in love with the town. It was so peaceful and didn't want to leave. It worth every afford to get there. Love love it so so much!!!

忘れ物を送って下さりありがとうございございました

忘れ物をしましたが、丁寧に送って下さいました。朝食時に布団を下げるリクエストをしていた事を忘れてしまい、部屋を散らかしたまま朝食に行ってしまいました。そのせいか無くし物をしてしまい、帰りにお願いをしてきましたが、翌日には見つかったとお電話を下さいました。大したものではないので、簡単な発送でよかったのですが、大変丁寧な発送をして下さいまして本当にありがとうございます。 吊り橋を渡っての夕食や、露天風呂、ラウンジでのゆっくりとした時間、また是非伺いたいと思います。

過剰なサービス感はなく、居心地が良かったです。夕食の場所と料理には工夫されていると思います。 公共の交通機関で行きましたが、バス停の目の前なので問題ないですし、行きやすいと思います。

食事がおいしい宿

客室は思ったより内装が安っぽい感じでしたが、滞在は快適でした。 食事が特に美味しく満足で、接客もちょうどよい距離感でよかったです。 気になった点は以下。 ＊チェックインがせわしない：到着してすぐにラウンジに通されてすぐにフロントに呼び出され、チェックイン手続き後部屋に案内されたが、太鼓はいらないので、ウェルカムドリンクを飲みながらラウンジチェックインで一息ついた後に案内等価格に見合った落ち着いた接客でもよいかも。 ＊食事の提供：お酒を飲みながら、食事をしているのに焼き物も出来上がっていない段階で食事と汁物を持ってきたり、デザートを持ってきたりされると特に長居をしていたわけでもないのにせわしない。食事がとてもおいしかっただけに残念。

An amazing 5-star japanese experience right from the beginning. Greeted in the parking lot as we drove up. Check-in was very friendly and professional. The ryokan is exceptional in every respect - very traditional and japanese but also extremely comfortable. Room was large, beautiful, and we even had our own ofuro (bathtub) in the room. Dinner was an experience to behold - wonderful. We brought our own wine and that was fine. The onsen are spotless and lovely. The only disappointment - from my research there was a konyoku (mixed) bath available. But it seems that is no longer the case. There is one indoor and one outdoor (rotemburo) bath for men and the same for women but there are no mixed baths (konyoku) anymore. There are 3 private family baths that you can book for an extra 1080 yen for a 45 minute session. But if you don't book a family bath you will not be able to soak with your partner.

ホテルは古いがそれなりに綺麗になっており、温泉、食事も大変満足.特に夕飯は個室のため、他のお客さんと会うことも無くゆっくり出来た。 また、6/3は平家大祭の最終日でもあり、夜見学も出来、有意義な時間を過ごすことが出来リフレッシュしました。 また、是非行きたいと思います。 ありがとうございました‼︎

Bijzondere ervaring

Leuke ervaring. Ga voor de onsen en het eten. Beiden zijn van bijzondere klasse maar daar is de prijs ook naar. Min puntje is de rigide wijze waarop met de tijden voor de onsen wordt omgegaan. Deze zijn een belangrijk deel van de dag dicht ivm onderhoud terwijl wordt geafficieerd met 24 uur open.

古舊日本風格的旅館

旅館裝横十分有懷舊日本風格。晩餐很豐富而且亦很美味。露天風呂很舒適，還有免費接駁專車去雪祭場地。唯一不便之處是別館跟溫泉的距離稍遠。這是一間很值得推薦的旅館。

川沿い露天風呂が最高

川沿いの露天風呂での景色が最高だった。昔を感じる囲炉裏での食事と珍しい岩魚のお酒も美味しかった。部屋からの景色も川沿いで良かった。泊まった別塔から本館が少し離れているけど。全体的に良かったです。

Meraviglioso ryocan affacciato sul fiume

Meravigliosa location, il ryocan si affaccia sul fiumiciattolo ed è collegato alla sala da pranzo attraverso un ponte tibetano. Cena divina nella sala in perfetto ed elegante stile locale. La Onsen meravigliosa quella esterna suggestivo l'affaccio. Le camere pulite e veramente accoglienti il futon viene sistemato dal personale sia la sera che la mattina. Assolutamente da provare. Da sapere che dista circa 40km dai templi di Nikko.

這是一間很特别的温泉酒店,環景清幽,境色很美!晚餐非常豐富及特色,早餐就比較一般!員工服務親切,尤其是年長員工更是可愛!缺點是房屋設備比較舊,枕頭有少許污點!整體來説很值得一試!

Fantastic traditional Japanese ryokan in mountains

The ryokan and its environs are spectacular. Still was winter there when we visited, so the wall of icicles was visible next to the bridge from the lobby and from our room. Traditional Japanese room with futons and tatami.

一間很有特色的旅館，令人留下難忘回憶

旅館門口雖小，但入面佔地面積很大，迎賓及浸溫泉地點與客人房間是分開兩座大樓，客人如需往返，必須經過一段很短「無瓦遮頭」的路程，但由於旅館內開放暖氣關係，在冬天時，實在先要鼓起勇氣，因溫差太大，擔心著涼！不過旅館實在太具特色，這少少瑕疵，足以彌補！ 而晚餐是爐端燒，食物很美味；房間很整潔；職員能操流利英語，溝通沒有問題！如果再有機會，必定會再次光臨本家伴久酒店！

Definitely worth a visit

Without a car it's definitely a little bit of a mission on trains and buses to get here, but it's absolutely worth the effort - and actually once you get hold of a timetable (easier said than done) the connections are pretty decent from Nikko and Kinugawaonsen - although they don't run too late. There is not a huge amount to "do" around Honke Bankyu, but it's set in a lovely little village and the staff can help you find some nice trekking areas....though they may not warn you that the trekking can be pretty steep...it's not a little walk in flip flops! The Onsen itself is great, but the stand out reason for visiting is the hugely impressive dinner - truly a memorably unusual and delicious experience.
