I was only able to stay at Asaya Hotel for 1 night, but that night was one of the most amazing experiences of my entire life.
The staff here are extremely kind and helpful. It was my first time in Japan, so we got a little lost and were going to be late to check in. We were worried we wouldn't be able to get dinner, but we called them, and they extended our dinner time for us. They also helped dress us in our yukata and taught us how to tie the obi.
The onsen was also amazing. They have 3 different floors for the onsen, one of them being on the roof. The view from the rooftop onsen was absolutely stunning. You can see into the valley and see the bridge from one of the onsen baths.
When we were leaving the hotel, it was raining, and one of the staff came running after us with umbrellas for us to keep.
Overall, it was a 10/10 experience. The staff was super nice and accomodating, the hotel is really grand and well maintained, and the onsen was super clean, relaxing and beautiful. The only thing I regret is not being able to stay here another night.
