"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. "This beautiful villa is a hidden gem. The little village is so gorgeous. The drive up through the olive orchard is stunning. We never tired of the view. The restaurant that it attached to the villa is literally at the front door. The food is amazing. Though breakfast is not available, it's a short drive to a nearby town that has several other dining options. The pool is small but private. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The host was so great and patient with us. We got lost and they went to meet us at a local store to bring us the rest of the way, despite it being their Good Friday. The home was beautiful with amazing views. The rooms were spacious, all with baloconies. It was so nice that each couple had their own bathroom. The host was there when we needed supplies. Gorgeous home and nice location!"

"George is really kind and helpful. He helped make it a wonderful family holiday. Great location with lots of bars, cafes and a children’s play park in easy walking distance. Good cooking facilities and very comfy beds. We recommend the evening meal cooked by George’s mum. "

"This villa was all that it said and more. The owner left some food items for us until we could get to a grocery store. She was very easy to communicate with and answered all questions promptly. The housecleaner was there every few days to clean and change towels and take trash. It is a beautiful, unique and very comfortable place. We loved it, and would stay there again if we ever get back to Crete. "

"Wonderful location in a quiet and pleasant part of the island. Joanna was great with her communication and hospitality. The villa is clean and tidy with plenty of equipment needed for a stay. There are plenty of beach options nearby and the city is easy to reach where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. The pool at the villa is lovely, private and clean. The equipment provided around the pool is great quality. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms have great views down to the sea. The kitchen has plenty of equipment that is needed for a stay and the living area is nicely laid out. Outside there are plenty of places to sit and eat and a garden to explore. Highly recommended for those who want to get away from it all, but want to be close enough to civilisation when needed. "

"We stayed here in mid September… Absolutely brilliant.Giorgos deserves his SuperHost award. We celebrated here with all 11 bedrooms used! Everyone had their own bathrooms,.. if not an ensuite, then a main bathroom for the upper levels. Only the two apartments had shared bathrooms between two bedrooms. But a plunge in the pool or shower at different times was easy enough. The external caterers, coordinated by Giorgos for our one-night special event were also brilliant. Very professional - exceptional fresh food. Very accommodating. Any hiccups along the way were minor and were sorted IMMEDIATELY by Giorgio or Paris who met us onsite with the keys. Nothing was too much. The location was only a short walk to Gerani - a lovely welcoming village with everything you needed. Cafe Kapou were open every day for our daily morning Freddo expresso, cappuccino or Greek coffee. And the bakery across the road was a must … every day! Walk to Gerani beach, also fabulous. The day we stayed at the villa allowed us to enjoy all the facilities: swimming pool, snooker table, air hockey, gymnasium, outdoor BBQ and wood oven. What can I say. We even watched a Netflix movie on one of the nights!! "

"We were a family party ages ranging from 2 years to 84 years. The villa was great for all of us from swimming pool, jacuzzi outdoor pizza oven to the air conditioning and lift, we couldn't fault it. "Very lovely family that own it. The house and garden are very nice. You will need a car to stay here as it’s up so very steep hills but in a very beautiful location! Very easy check in as owner will meet you there to explain everything and answer any questions as well as check out process. Kitchen is quite a small space but you also have a bbq area outside which is lovely. Bedrooms all very nice and clean. We had a clean mid stay, we were expecting just basic clean but it was given a very good clean. We as a family have all agreed we would definitely stay again"

"This home is immaculately maintained by a family that will host you as if you were their family too. It is spacious and you will find everything you would ever want or need in your own home. The pool is huge and the grounds and gardens are so beautifully maintained that you will think you are in paradise. There is a private beach you can swim at also. You cannot ask for a better, more inviting home to have your family reunion or get together at!!!"
