「地図で見ると周りに何も目的になるものがなかったので心配したが、実際行ってみるととてもわかりやすく、しかも英国のカントリーサイドにふさわしい、すばらしい環境の所に建っていた。朝食をとった部屋の雰囲気も抜群で、日本では味わえない優雅な気持ちにさせられた。夕食はいつもバーで軽く飲み、スターターなどで十分で、この日もホテルの雰囲気のいいバーでのひとときを満喫できた。余り日本人は来ないそうだが、susiやtempuraのメニューがあった。シェフが日本で修業したことがあるので取り入れているとのことだった。」

「This is a truly fabulous hotel with the level of service second to none. We were made to feel special from the time we arrived to the moment we left. The staff are exceptionally friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The little personal touches that they did made the whole stay truly magical.
