「This was the culmination of a self-promise made 11 years ago. Then, we had afternoon tea on the patio, but can’t remember how we discovered Portloe. We said we should stay here if we ever visit Cornwall again. Fast forward to now; an unexpected opportunity to re-visit Cornwall. And it came to pass. Our stay did not disappoint- the quirky corridors to our room, the spectacular views from the windows, the bright and airy restaurant and the opportunity (again) to observe a lone fisherman working on...

「Sehr schönes Zimmer, was wir zu dritt hatten. Sehr nettes Personal, tolles Lokal mit leckerem Essen, einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: das dritte Bett ist ein etwas unbequemes Schlafsofa. Insgesamt: tolle Unterkunft mit guter Ausgangslage, um Cornwall zu erkunden. Kann ich nur empfehlen!」

「We spent 2 night here while sight seeing around Cornwall. We found it quite central to the places we visited. The warm and welcoming staff made our stay comfortable and relaxing. After a day of sightseeing and going back to a good meal completed our day. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I loved the garden. We highly recommend the wheelhouse for your next stay in Cornwall.」

「Definitely a 2 star accommodation, old and very tired, we had no towels , manager blamed cleaner but didn't know how to work dryer to get us some. I took 3 clean pillocases from laundry room, as no towels there either Bedroom full of mould stains on walls and stained quilt, which o didn't see till morning or would have gone back to manager for replacement Also no breakfast or food in pub as chef had let them down!! Is you really do need to stay hee make sure you check room throughly before...

「Location is superb right by harbor.. lots of narrow small stairs to our room on 3rd floor in roof. Room was airless even with windows open… breakfast was great however supervisor was pretty unfriendly and basically kicked us out right at 10am… don’t expect any frills…」
