Sitting on top of a mountain, the house was very clean, spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, with lots of spaces to inhabit. Ditto the patio and grounds so each of us were able to enjoy much needed "me time" surrounded by dwarf iris, creeping phlox, pink azaleas, and flame azaleas, which drew dozens of butterflies! 「We had a wonderful weekend in this home. Amazing views from both upper and lower decks. We enjoyed our mornings sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee. The beds were very comfortable but could use some more blankets and a few more towels. Excellent location; close to Linville Falls, the winery and Grandfather Mountain. Overall a great weekend.」

「We loved our stay at the farmhouse! The home is impeccably maintained and there were too many lovely touches and comforts to the home to list. In addition to all the lovely things you see in the pictures and read in the reviews, we had a welcome package, food to feed the animals, well stocked kitchen, high quality towels and linens, and specialty soaps to enjoy. We enjoyed discovering the historical artifacts preserved on the property. Each room has its own character and charm. Extraordinary!...

「Great space for a long weekend. There were 8 women in our group. Plenty of room for watching movies and playing games. The restaurants we wanted to go to were very convenient to the house. The one issue when the breaker tripped was quickly resolved with a quick call to find the location of the breaker box. Would definitely rent again. 」
