Glad I held of on this review, the stay it’s self
Was fine was a bed for the night, cheap and convenient. Or at least it was cheap until two weeks later we get a £100 fine through the door for using the car park!
Even though we were let into the building by a member of staf filled out a check in form with all our information including our reg plate, and the parking was never mentioned so we didn’t think anything off it, clearly an error on their part.
Phone the hotel, staff member on the phone is absolutely useless, nothing they can do have to send an appeal through the post, absolutely atrocious manager Gemma calls back, NO apology, NO empathy, NO offer of help at all, just a very patronising tone as she kept repeating that Aparantly there are MASSIVE LIT UP SIGNS all over the place saying to have to register your car yourself.
Baring in mind we arrived in the at car park after 11pm and it was near pitch black, I did not see any signs and no mention of this by the clerk.
“Well we’ll feed that back but you’ll just have to follow the written appeals process as it’s a third party company” yeah right! That third party company works for you! you can contact them and void the ticket when it’s your fault, your just hoping it’s too much hassle so we won’t bother. I have had other car parks do the same thing when it’s their fault, at the end of the day. If you can see we provided car details you should have made sure the plate was registered, all of the staff are useless
