"I'm so glad I stayed at Marcia's apartment. It's a very welcoming place with all the amenities, and Marcia helped me throughout my stay. She was very attentive and caring. The apartment is close to malls and restaurants. I will definitely return to Barbados and stay here again. I recommend it 1000000%!"

"Great communication with the host. Nicole ensured that we will get to the property by offering a taxi service which was very convenient as we flew in after midnight. She checked on us during the stay. The house is licated in a very quiet area. Shirt drive/bus ride to the nearest gas station/store. I recommend it for a short stay. "

"Property is very hard to find. Owner was very adamant that electricity should not be on whole time. There's only 1 A/C unit and hostes was very upset that we kept it on over night (was very hot). There was hardly water to shower, it just trickled out. Cook stove didn't work properly"

"We absolutely loved the setup of this VRBO. The property features three spacious bedrooms with plenty of room to relax and feel comfortable. It’s located in a great area, with everything you might need just a short 5–6 minute drive away.
The host was fantastic, easily accessible and close by in case any issues came up, which gave us great peace of mind. He also recommended a nearby fish fry at Oistins Bay (I believe it was Pat’s Place), where the portions were generous and the food was...

"Reception staff brusque. I advised the manager that they were bolshy, but she didn’t know what I meant. In general, all other staff were quite cheerful, efficient, helpful and seemed to be reasonably happy.
On arrival, we were eventually shown to the room, 307 I think, and on entering we were knocked backed by a smell of damp, musty, fousty. A firm no thank you, long walk back to reception. We were shown to another room which was almost as far and just as damp etc., smelling. Trecked back to reception. After much protestations we were shown to a suite, which was thankfully smell free. This room was available to us at US$160 per night. We are reluctantly accepted after a strong protest. Not very happy.
Even less happy when after a little around the property we went for a shower. Run the taps for 10 minutes but no hot water. Back to reception. “Are you sure you’re turning the tap the right way”? We had tried both ways. No one came until the following morning when they turned the tap on for 10 mins for the same result. Head scratching as they went to investigate. We went on like this all day until finally early evening we had some hot water.. But Planning was essential. Had to run the tap for five minutes before any hot water arrived.
After being rebuffed by reception staff, I eventually spoke to the manager who offered a one night cancellation of the upgrade fee only, which I refused and successfully insisted on both nights upgrade fee being cancelled.
Food was GOOD

"As our flight was delayed 6 hours, we didn’t arrive until 10 p.m. and everything was closed at the hotel. Departed at noon the next day, but did manage to walk around the property and checked out beach area which was limited, thus we would likely choose another location next time as we like longer beach walks. Room was very spacious and clean with large sliding doors and windows overlooking road vs waterfront, but was not a problem. Expensive for a short one night stay for what was offered."
"As a business traveler, this hotel was great. It had everything I needed, even though I did not get time to use the gym and pool. It is well-located (across the street from the beach) so that you can walk to the boardwalk and some really good restaurants (Big up Salt Cafe for crusted fish, Tapas for the view, Coco's breakfast if you want to feel like you are on vacation) or towards Bridgetown - 2.5 kms - if you are not easily frightened by cars zipping by while sidewalks disappear and reappear. Also close to the quirky museum with Rihanna's umbrella. I found it expensive - for example, 35 usd for breakfast buffet - but frankly most things were expensive in the tourist economy at the tail end of the high season. It was really handy for me that the hotel has a taxi desk in the lobby with very cheerful drivers ready to meet your needs."
"This hotel is extremely small spa wasn’t available or working not much food selection very quiet. You can hear a pin drop. Definitely not a spot to celebrate birthday mainly for older seniors.
Had to go to the Sister hotel Acura which was bigger and better we did the Sps service over there but the lady at the front was rude. We came in and said good afternoon we have an appointment for 1 o’clock and she looked us up and down and said your appointment is for 115. I said I know that I arrived early because I know there are forms to be filled out .. not a hello good afternoon no greeting at all."
"The housekeeping did a very very bad job. Did not clean the room well. Also the aisles and the stairs were always dirty. The housekeeping were also not friendly and did a very bad job at putting clean towels. There was always lacking some. Also did not change the bedsheet as supposed to. I must say, 2 of the staff members were very friendly and kind. Ms. Rosita from the front desk and mr. Adrain from the security. Adrian was the sweetest. Also very helpful. They definitely stood out. I loved the beach view. That’s why very unfortunate that the hotel is in such a bad state. It definitely needs to be upgraded. "
