「We screened properties for pet friendly and this listing came up every time, but we got a call from the owner the first morning telling us they were not pet friendly. The did refund us for one night of the 2 we planned to stay. The property is in a very nice part of Newburgh. 「We loved out stay! Would absolutely stay again. There is a little (under 5 min) walk to the tiny house itself on some rough terrain but it’s worth it for the seclusion. The place itself was so charming and cute. So fun seeing the animals and trails are walking distance away. The nearest towns are 30+ minutes away and there are no big box stores, just small shops and restaurants, so pack accordingly. 「I was very happy with the property. I shared the place with my adult children for a family wedding. It was wonderful to have some quality, screenfree, engaging time with them. We took full advantage of the games and cards provided. The bedding was sooo comfy that I came home and ordered the same pillows that were there. I would definitely add the fact that the water is “well water” to the listing so people know in advance to bring water. All in all a great experience.」

The only thing to note is that there is a bit of walking on a rocky trail before reaching the campsite (not next to the parking spot). The river was fun to explore but can be difficult for younger kids to get to. The campsite is close to Minnewaska State Park, very convenient. 」
