"We stay at Hotel Eastlund every time we come to PDX for a Moda Center event or the Oregon convention center! Excellent facility , clean, Very friendly and accommodating staff. Well appointed room and bed, shower/ bath. Easy 7 minute walk to the Moda center from here and valet parking is around $40 but still worth it! "

"We’re are frequent visitors to the Hyatt, excellent staff and they’re super attentive to our old english sheepdog. Always clean and tidy rooms with great temperature control and first rate showers."

"The hotel was located in a very centralized location with lots of dining and shopping options near by that you can walk to. Keep in mind there are a lot of homeless around this area. It was also not too far from some of the famous hiking spots. Parking is right next to the hotel, which was very nice. It does say heated pool; however, the pool did not seem it was heated and there are not enough chairs to accommodate people. Our front desk person that helped us was slightly rude. She said she would call us as soon our room was available, but never did. The windows in the room are not that thick so you can hear the train and cars in the room. Also, our AC in the room felt like it didn’t work. Not sure if I would stay here again if I ever come back to Portland."

"The first thing i noticed when i opened the door to our room was how clean it smelled. I liked how they left us slippers to wear because the floor was wood-laminate (much preferred to carpet). And even though it was an older hotel everything worked properly, i.e. plumbing, electric, tv. The location of the hotel was great. Only a 15-20 minute walk from downtown, depending on where you want to go. Close enough to get to the restaurants, shopping, bars, etc., but far enough to not be in the middle of the chaos that came out at night. There is an awesome pizza place around the corner, (Pizza Kat), so good we ate there twice. Parking was not an issue, but because everything was so close, we just parked for two days straight. We will definitely stay here again, the staff was very kind, the rooms were clean and the location was great!"
