"The room was clean, however it was very old, with a dirty sofa. The staff was nice. I asked them to clean the room, they forgot to clean it.
It's a normal place to stay."
Secluded Lakefront Cabin on 1 acre lot with 200' of private shoreline with dock
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property on the lake with a gorgeous view. Relaxing and quiet with easy access to Rouses Point. Stacy made check in/out easy and was attentive during our stay. We would definitely consider returning on future trips!"
"Ok, let's set the record straight... This is simply a sensational Guest House to stay in.
Right from arrival to leaving, you are treated as more than simply a paying guest.
Walter, John and Aida run an amazing operation and I honestly would be privileged to stay again.
The room was terrific and very clean with more than enough space to move around. The bathroom was amazing too and the character of the whole house was visible in the room.
As for breakfast, well, all I can say is, delicious! Never had the same plateful on any of the mornings I was there.
They were all so pleasant to talk to and such a delight to hear their stories. Excellent conversationalists and very knowledgeable.
If you are looking for somewhere to stay on the Islands, I would thoroughly recommend the Dodds Brick Guest House."
Lake Champlain Shoreline Cottage - 4906 Maquam Shore, Town of St. Albans.
10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay. Great location, it’s close to Saint Albans City, where we frequented a few restaurants and to the Hero islands and Green Mountains. The house had everything we needed and it was very clean. We especially enjoyed the view and watching the sunsets. Mike is a great host."
"This was an excellent place for me and my dog. There’s a big fenced in backyard next to a cow pasture. My friend even saw a calf being born. The views of Lake Champlain are very nice, especially the sunsets. The lake is across the road and the beach is small and rocky down a staircase. The cottage is rustic but comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked. Pay attention to the pictures; what you see is what you get. The area is gorgeous with good selection of restaurants, many with nightly music. Be sure to try a maple Creemee! I had a very nice time here."
