    So, to be fair, this might not be a fair representation because the Fairfield had a leak in the building and they reassigned us to the hotel next-door. Unfortunately I can’t review The Doubletree, so hopefully Fairfield will see this and send people elsewhere. The construction started at 5:30am right outside my window, and the noise was only rivaled by the elevator door that broke at 6:30am and just kept repeatedly banging itself open and shut because it was stuck in the frame (right outside my door). The front of the hotel smells terrible, with construction and garbage containers everywhere, and the check-in girl was snarky with a smile to everyone including a guy who was just trying to get to his room. Te only saving grace was the breakfast room staff, who were sweet and made the best hot chocolates for us for breakfast. Thank you!!
