The space was impeccably clean, comfortable, and a perfect home base for our visit. The subway is really close by, and the back patio is perfect for decompressing after a busy day. The fold out couch is really comfortable, and it was plenty of space for the four of us. The ac worked well, very important on a 90 degree August day.

We have stayed in New York City on a family trip for the past four years. This was the best stay yet. Set up was great and welcoming. We were late getting into town and had to meet someone for dinner. My wife forgot her toiletries bag in car and to our surprise there was a sealed toothbrush and toothpaste for our use. It was easy to get in and out! Wonderful experience.

Not Disappointed!

The apartment is great. Not too cramped, well thought out. It is always amazing to me to see how New Yorkers live. Most times their spaces are small so they have to be creative with storage, etc. This place showed that, the wardrobes were helpful to have, it gave all of us a place to store our things. There was a bottle of wine and some cold water which left for us. That was really nice. We usually come prepared to do a thorough cleaning, but the place was cleaned well. Such a plus! The owners were easy to contact and very helpful. We had a little trouble accessing the gated door. Loved the walkability of the neighborhood. We walked around the corner to Food Town for some snacks. Then to Devin’s Seafood for a quick bite. The area is quiet at night, the block itself is quiet as well, not too much traffic passing through. Definitely a winner! We will be looking to stay here during our next NY trip.

Above and beyond

Merle went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and responded promptly to our many questions. The neighborhood is lovely, and the place was just perfect for me and my son.

Wonderful Week

Lovely, clean apartment on a picturesque street, close to subway and grocery store. Merle was always friendly and accommodating and the welcome bottle of wine was a nice touch.

Just perfect

La nostr vacanza a New York è stata assolutamente perfetta grazie anche all scelta di questo appartamento unico. Tutto ha superato le nostre aspettative in quanto questo piccolo gioiello nel cuore di Harlem ha tutto quello che si desidera, pulizia estrema, modernità, spazi e letti comodi, un patio invidiabile. Merle ci ha fatti sentire a casa accogliendoci con una bottiglia di vino, acqua fresca e fornitura di caffè e thè per l'intera vacanza. Grazie davvero di cuore, questo rimarrà sicuramente la nostra "casa" per ogni futuro ritorno!

Loved this apartment! Super close to the subway which got me quite literally everywhere I needed to go (and I needed to go to a wide variety of places). Dreaming of the day I can stay here again!

Beautiful home with all the amenities and then some. You literally don't even need a toothbrush, they have them and many other amenities. The bottle of wine left for us by the homeowner was a nice touch. Thank you for that. Great location close to the subway and lots of restaurants and bars. I hope to come back in the future.

Very clean!

The property was lovely and unexpectedly completely renovated and modern. The towels were very nice quality. The bedding was also. The amenities were very thoughtful and much appreciated. The only surprise for us was that the bed was a full size which was very uncomfortable for two full size adults. Also, we were there for our son’s graduation and he had to move out of the dorm and stay with us the last 2 nights which is why we rented this place instead of a hotel with two beds. And the sofabed mechanism seemed to have an issue and would not open. He ended up sleeping on the sofa itself. If the bed in the bedroom was at least a queen we would definitely come again and highly recommend.

We are here for a week and enjoying this little hideaway with all that we need for our stay we appreciate the affordable accommodations the sweet gestures of the bottle of wine we will have more to share after our granddaughter arrives with her boyfriend

Great space to stay

Our group had a wonderful stay at this property in historic Hamilton Heights! The patio was beautiful with gorgeous neighboring trees, the furnishings were quaint & comfortable, and the host even offered a complimentary bottle of wine to welcome us! Strolling through the neighborhood was fascinating, with its well-maintained historic brownstones and excellent restaurants (check out Briciola for delicious Italian & Sugar Hill Diner for a wonderful breakfast). 10/10 would recommend, and would be happy to stay again.

Weekend in april

The property was very clean and accomodating for my husband myself and my 2 daughters 5 and 6 yrs old. We were able to put them to bed in the back bedroom with their own tv and stay up ourselves with the complementary bottle of wine left for us! What a treat. The queen size pull out sofa was comfortable. They left us eye masks and the bathroom was stocked with tooothbrushes and mouthwash shampoos conditioner and body wash. Keurig coffee maker was lovely and bottles of water in the fridge. We enjoyed the electric fireplace as it was chilly rainy day. We will be back next time we visit family in Harlem!! Thanks

Clean, convenient and cosy!

We had a lovely stay with everything we could possibly need available and handy. Affordable public transportation is easily accessed from this Hamilton Heights hideaway. The weather was a bit too chilly and windy to use the backyard patio, but we look forward to returning to this same rental during warmer weather. A GEM!! but

Una casa deliziosa, pulitissima funzionale siamo state benissimo sono andata con mia figlia e mia nipote. Merl Lost, è stata disponibile e simpatica ad aiutarci a risolvere un piccolo problema con una chiusura di una porta interna della casa. è stato un bellissimo soggiorno. Il mio sogno era dormire in un appartamento a New York, visto che le altre volte ero sempre stata in un hotel, e sono stata molto felice. Consiglio questa struttura perché oltre ad essere carinissima funzionale è collegata benissimo con tutta la città. Grazie per questa bellissima esperienza.
