Get a way

, very convenient to everything. Enjoyed the condo location and pool. Loved sitting on the patio and looking at the ocean. The bed in the 2nd bedroom only meant for a child, very uncomfortable and difficult to get in and out of for a 70 year old. Lighting in that room is also very poor. Shower in master bath drips. Lobby looks dirty and needs a refresher. The staff were very nice and accommodating. We were able to get an additional parking space (we came in two cars) for an additional ten dollars a night.

Birthday stay

We had a great time! The only reason not a 5 star was: Construction next door and the roof was nosey early in the morning. We were to have a parking pass in the unit waiting for us as we did not get in until 3 am. Had to get up early to get a pass from the office. Basically very clean, except look behind the couch, trash The kitchen drain had a very bad smell. We tried to clean the disposal. Helped some what. Need new mattress in main bedroom. Or it maybe be just me a little too hard I am not TV tech, did not care for no regular local tv or cable. My grandson found some great DVD's to watch. Couldn't figure out how to get the DVD player to work. No cables to TV For 2 days the air conditioning was working. Not a big deal we were outside. Night was a little uncomfortable, but the ceiling fan and small fan really helped Now the good stuff: Loved being on the first floor. Pool to the right beach to the left. No stairs. Nice to have the condo front door right by the parking lot no stairs. The condo is comfortable and fully stocked!! Nice towels The beach is clean, however, we didnt realize how busy it got during drive time. After driving was closed it was perfect! The pool was very clean and refreshing. The grounds were very clean and well maintained Laundry was not far away. I will be back for sure!

Prime location!

We loved this unit! Location couldn’t be better! Walking distance to Flagler. Being on the floor level was something we had never done before and we LOVED it! We will be back for sure!

NSB Memorial Weekend

Our sons wanted to stay close to Flagler Avenue. In order to be close to restaurants and activities. My husband and I wanted to be on the beach and only have to park once. This condo was great and met both criteria! The location was perfect. Close to everything, but not at all loud. You'd think being so close to the main drag of Flagler Ave there would be more noise, but no. Being able to walk to grab a lunch at the beach food truck, and renting surfboards at the same place was so great! The convenience was above and beyond, and no rowdy crowds! It was amazing! We did the Saturday Flagler Ave Wine Walk and had a blast! Again, walked to everything. The first floor condo was perfect! We could walk right out of the unit, onto the patio and right to the pool. There's a wonderful picnic table and green space area right outside the unit as well. The beach access was perfect! Right there. We could get to the condo easily when we were on the beach. The beach was busy but so manageable. We had a minor mechanical issue that was dealt with quickly. The management company, Great Ocean Condos was on top of everything! They responded quickly and kept us up to date on everything. Such great people. Thank you!

Family of 3 New Smyrna Stay

This place is located in the best area. It is right on the beach and located a short walk from the strip on Flagler. It was very convenient. The air conditioning was on its last leg when we were there so it was a little hot and but we slept with the fans on and no blankets.

Fantastic property

The property looked exactly as shown in the pictures. It was very clean and well supplied. The location could not be beat; steps from Flagler! The ground floor made walking to the pool and beach quick and easy!

Beautifully oceanfront view, super close to Flagler Avenue

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect if you plan on eating out! It was one short block away from Flagler Avenue and all the restaurants .The unit was nice, freshly painted, and the king bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped , though scissors to open stuff with and a measuring cup and a measuring tablespoon would have been nice. I think that the owners are continuing to fix up the unit, as far as aesthetics are concerned. There is not private internet- but the building has free internet. The TV’s are not ‘smart TV’s’ but do have cable and some Showtime channels. We really enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the mornings and watching the ocean. The boardwalk to the beach was just steps away, located right next to the building. There were about 14 steps that one would need to get down to get on the beach, very easy to do. The boardwalk was located against a gopher turtle preservation area and we enjoyed spotting them in the small protected lot. They do have some beach chairs but they are in bad shape so be sure to bring beach chairs and an umbrella! The staff that runs Oceania Plaza were very nice and helpful. They offer free day parking pass if you have a visitor for the day. There is also washers and dryers that you can use for $2.75 a load. The swimming pool was well maintained and the lounge chairs there were maintained as well. The lounge area could use a major upgrade as far as decor is concerned-but was clean and well maintained. We did not spend anytime there, we enjoyed walking on the beach, sitting on the beach and visiting the national park and nature preserves. We stayed there for nearly a month in February which was a very pleasant time to go. President’s Day weekend begins the busy season so there will be lots of exciting activity to watch!

Great location.

Building is fairly “tired” and could definitely use a facelift. Our unit was in decent condition but definitely not one of the better ones that we have stayed in over the number of years in new Smyrna.

Right on the beach

Great location literally on the beach with a pool about 50 feet away. The only bummer was the condition of the beach chairs which were so old, rusty and broken we could barely use them. Otherwise the property was amazing!

Beware of predatory towing

Beware of predatory towing and get your parking pass before you do anything. The towing company had my vehicle pulled out while I was unloading. This occurred around 9pm. The unit was very nice. However they should have stocked extra paper towels, toilet paper, and garbage bags. The bottom full size bunk bed needs to be replaced. Other than that, the unit was great.

Great Property/Location

Stayed a week and didn't want to leave. The pictures are very accurate including access and view of the ocean. We hadn't experienced a beach where vehicles are allowed but found it to not be a big deal. Access to Flagler Avenue is also excellent. I do have to agree with other reviews that mattresses need to be replaced.

Great location

Great location, easy access because it was on the first floor. Looked like it was updated recently as everything was fresh and new with two exceptions. New beds are needed as they were uncomfortable and lumpy and the furniture was uncomfortable as well.

We had an amazing time while we were there only complaint we had was the pool was not heated while we were there because it was broke and that was the main reason we rented this property was because it had a heated pool but other than that no complaints

Weekend stay.

We have visited this property in the past and were always pleased until a few years ago. Obviously you have been working on the property as it looks great. Only thing bad I can say about our unit was that someone might want to check out the mattresses. Very lumpy. All in all a great stay.
