Algiers Point is the second oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. It is situated right across the Mississippi River from the French Quarter. The Point is a historic tight-knit community. The unique neighborhood has a beach town vibe (minus the beach). There are wonderful restaurants, cafes and bars walking distance from the apartment.

Algiers Point sits just across the Mississippi from the French Quarter, connected by a $2 ferry and separated by a world of calm. From this studio loft, you step out into tree-lined streets, local cafés, and a neighborhood that rewards slow mornings and late evenings. The city is right there when you want it - and easy to step back from when you don’t.

The space
This ground-floor studio loft has an open, considered layout with natural light and a comfortable, well-kept feel. A ceiling fan, central air conditioning, and central heating keep things just right throughout the year. A dedicated workspace with fast Wi-Fi is set up in the common area for those who need to stay on top of work.

Sleeping arrangements
The king bed is made up with quality linens, with extra pillows and blankets available. Room-darkening shades let you sleep in when you want to, and a closet and dresser give you room to properly unpack. Central heating and air conditioning keep the space comfortable in any season.

Kitchen & dining
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook properly: a Whirlpool electric stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, toaster, blender, hot water kettle, and coffee maker. Cooking basics, dishes, silverware, wine glasses, and a baking sheet are all included. A dining table is set up for meals at home.

Entertainment
A 55" HDTV streams Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Chromecast, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, and Netflix. There’s also a record player if you’d rather fill the room with music.

Bathroom & laundry
The private bathroom comes with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, fresh towels, and a hair dryer. A bathtub and in-unit washer and dryer make extended stays comfortable. Hangers, an iron, and clothing storage are provided throughout.

Neighborhood
Algiers Point delivers on its reputation - Barracuda tacos, local cafés, and the Mississippi riverfront are all within easy walking distance. The $2 ferry puts Bourbon Street, Frenchmen jazz clubs, and holiday events in the Quarter just minutes away. A laundromat is nearby for longer visits.

Good to know
The loft has a private entrance with a separate street entry. Self check-in is via smart lock, so arrival is on your own schedule. Pets are welcome. Free parking is available on the premises and on the street. Exterior security cameras are positioned at the entry door, and a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit are all in place. Long-term stays of 28 days or more are welcome.
