Very nice mid-level hotel. Room was clean and the inside of the property was nice. Staff was friendly and quick. Walking distance to the Freret area with coffee shops, breakfast/dinner options plus a Rouses Market.

Excellent management and front door lobby staff. The bell hop guys were terrific and over the top helpful. This is a very old property with great character. The property is very convenient to walk or Uber to Tulane Univerairy.

A fabulous value hotel in Uptown. Our room was clean, spacious and had a balcony with nice southern views all the way to the container cranes on the river. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Great restaurants and bars along Ferret. Highly recommended.

It’s a safe location and the hotel is completely fine as long as you’re not looking for any special amenities. The area surrounding the hotel is not very pretty, but you can walk to some restaurants and bars. Close to Tulane it was convenient for moving my son into college, but wouldn’t stay here if it was just a vacation in New Orleans.

The room was very large. It was very conveniently located near bars and restaurants on Freret street (easily walkable), Tulane and Loyola, Magazine street, and Audubon park. A trolley ride takes you into The French Quarter.
