The pictures online can't really capture how unique and cool the space is. Everything from the decor to the bedding had the same attention to detail.
There is plenty of room for a family to spread out as the 2nd room is in a hallway separate from the main room and master bedroom. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, and we took advantage of the Market Basket grocery to get supplies for meals and picnic lunches.
There is a port with ferries that run to Martha's Vinyard, the Cape etc.,.. We had a car so for our short visit we just drove over to the Cape and explored that way. The farthest point - Provincetown was about 1 hr 40 min, the S.Cape was 30 min. You could also go the other direction to Portland RI in 30 min.
The location is urban and within walking distance of an up and coming "hip" area with several restaurants etc.,. and a nearby parking spot is provided. We also took advantage of the Dunkin Donuts across the street! Just a note that there is also a bus terminal nearby and the typical urban cross-section of people (from homeless to hipster).
I would definitely recommend this as a great home base for a couple or a family with older children. Probably not so suited for babies, toddlers or persons who have issues with stairs (the penthouse is 3 flights up).
David was super helpful and quick to respond to VM or text messages.
We hope to return soon!
