Hotel Airport Tirana

8/10 Good

"Great room. The hotel looks better on the inside than when you first arrive so that was a pleasant surprise. The food in the restaurant was average. But having experienced Albanian food for a week it generally meets that same standard of being just okay. Nothing to go wow about but fills you up. The pool was a nice addition and great to relax in after a long drive. Towels were provided which I thought was a good touch as who wants to fly home with wet towels? If I need an overnight by the airport I will choose this hotel again."

"Very disappointing experience! The interaction began when I received a call that my food delivery had arrived. I asked whether it could be brought to my room since I was in the middle of something. I was told no one was available, which was perfectly fine, and I said I would come down shortly. However when I arrived, the staff member repeatedly questioned whether I was the only person staying in my room. After I answered multiple times that I was traveling alone, she continued asking, "Are you sure?" in a way that felt accusatory and disrespectful. Being asked once is understandable (perhaps it's standard procedure here), but being repeatedly treated as if I was lying was not. I had to ask her 3 times to please give me my food to even get it. That’s how adamant she was with trying to get me to admit something that was not true. I also had a poor experience with the bartender after checkin, who acted as though serving me was an inconvenience. The only reason I'm not giving an even harsher review is because the woman who checked me in was friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the customer service I received afterward completely overshadowed that positive interaction. I extended my stay due to a change in travel plans, but I would not choose this hotel again and this woman should not work in hospitality."

"Superb staff , especially the reception staff who couldn’t do enough from checking us in to sorting out taxis. Room was spotless and spacious. Only comment would be a bigger tv. Food in the restaurant was amazing and very reasonably priced Swimming pool was good although a little cold Gym was a negative as it’s actually quite unsafe due to the age of the equipment Other negative is the traffic outside the hotel, very busy. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay"

"This was a great hotel to stay at on the last day of our trip to Albania. It is close to the airport, and the pool was great to cool down in after the drive. It was still before the busy season and the hotel was almost all to ourselves. We are dinner as well as breakfast at the restaurant and the food was very good."

"The owner was GREAT!!!!!!! He was so nice , we had a few day trips planned so we had to meet the Tour Bus before 6:00am before breakfast started. Each day he woke up to make me and my wife sandwhiches gave us fruit and water for or bus ride. He and the staff at the hotel are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! and treat you like their family which was great. The hotel also gives you a free welcome drink wine, beer, or whatever you want which was nice as well. I would definitely reccomend this hotel to anyone who will be visiting Tirana Albania . We will definitley be staying there again if we visit again. The tv in roomas also have Netflix, and Youtube which was good to have so we could watch tv in english."

"The airport is extremely close to the airport. It’s barely a three (3) minute walk from the arrival terminal to the reception of the hotel. No need to take taxi/cab, just take left when come out of the terminal. The property is certainly Best Western, an American chain of the hotels. Tea, 500 ml, and coffee is complimentary available in the room."
