The staff is excellent. You tell them what you want from their menu and they bring the food to your villa at the specified time. The food is excellent. "Our stay at the Boathouse in Melaya was amazing! The house is exactly as pictured and beautiful! I can’t rave enough about the staff. They are absolutely amazing and so accommodating. The only complaint I have is how remote it is. If total peace and quiet is what you’re looking for then you will be thrilled. We would definitely stay there again if we go to Bali. It’s nice to Spend half your time in Kuta and then end your vacation in the seclusion of the Boathouse."

"My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights and had a wonderful time. The house is on a peaceful beach (we didn't see any other tourists while we were here) with some local temples about 10 minutes' walk. The house is clean and well-equipped and the air conditioning was able to keep up with the heat! The large grounds were exactly as pictured, including the huge beautiful pool. We were able to have massages in our little massage pavilion right on the beach! Keep in mind that it does take 20+...

"This is an incredibly beautiful and peaceful place. The hotel and restaurant staff were helpful and accommodating. We stayed here for three days after spending time in Uluwatu, Ubud, and hiking Mt Batur and it was just what we needed. We sat by the pools, walked the beach, got massages, and went into town for lunch each day. The rooms and bathrooms were beautiful, each room has its own hammock. Highly recommend! "

"What can I say this is my second stay here and each time the place is amazing from the villa to pool to the surrounding area just amazing and well thought out. The Euro Restaurant was ok but the Indonesian Restauant overlooking sunset was out of this world. Service was excellent. Reception was interesting asking for same docs again even though were repeat guests and have already given our documents weird. Welcome drink needs an upgrade lol"
