「What a gem! Rooms are spacious and clean. Restaurant/Bar serve an excellent variety of dishes and cocktails. Rooftop lounge (although bar wasn’t open yet for the season) offers a fabulous view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Looking forward to a return visit in season and to explore quaint Wytheville!」

「Mmmhh, not the typical Hampton experience. Upon check in, the lobby seemed unusually small and with a group of 3-4 checking in ahead of us and my group of 6 it was tight; although I know this was probably an unusual situation-not a complaint just an observation. Parts of the hotel were being renovated while we were there and looks like it is going to be very nice; however, outside (back/side) it was the messiest site I have ever seen; this is speaking to the contractors doing the renovation...

「The pool was closed and didn’t use exercise room, so idk about that. Our room was not clean, hair on floor in bathroom, smoke detector hanging from ceiling, a person was LIVING in room beside us and would throw his trash bags out on lawn and had visitors throughout the night (loud). Toilet ran throughout the night, breakfast, if you like Sunny D and frozen breakfast sandwiches. The staff was understanding and apologetic. 「The pet fee per dog is very high. We already paid about $150 for the room but were told there would be a $75 fee for each of our 3 dogs. The breakfast is really basic with no hot foods, the hotel needs updates and is very overpriced for the condition of the rooms and facility. The pet area is not close to the hotel as well. We stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Wytheville a week later and it was substantially cheaper, the grass area is much closer and the rooms are about the same condition. At RRI...
