"The Akrotiri Hotel was really good, so much so that we stayed longer than planned. The host Timus was very accommodating explaining that the breakfast was €7 extra per person despite the booking site stating that it was free but the receipt was ambiguous in that respect. The who are was very clean and tidy with fantastic beaches that we had largely to ourselves given it was still early in the season with clean public toilets at most beaches and towns. "We only stayed here for one night, but everyone in my group agreed that we would love to spend a week here. The property is situated in a peaceful, rural environment that is a short walk to the beach and still relatively close to neapolis, a bigger town. The room was thoughtfully furnished and decorated and the host was very attentive. Our balcony had beautiful views of the mountains and the sea! Perfect place to unwind and experience the Greek countryside. "

"This is a nice property in Monemvasia but we did experience a few problems. The electricity went out multiple times and we were initially asked to work around their schedule for check-in time. Communication with the management was unpleasant and some untruths were told by them. Not sure whether this was an isolated event or a pattern. Perhaps others will have a better experience than we did. Nice looking property though."

"This property is really special. It is spacious and beautiful and just has a certain quality about it. That makes you feel like a queen. The owner‘s mom lives down the hill and, although she doesn’t speak a lot of English, she was thorough in welcoming us and Showing us how to use the kitchen, etc. She had a crisper drawer full of fresh oranges and lemons and an electric orange juice maker.
