It is at walkable distance to the port and the plenty restaurant near the coast. Splendid location for those who are not driving. Room facilities a bit aged The shower region is a bit tiny and one may get in contact with the shower curtains easily. But overall already worth every penny paid, because the price is quite attractive compared to other hotels / accommodations there. Very friendly staff. I would recommend it to all fellow travellers on a budget.

Walking distance from port, approximately 5-10 minutes. The hotel is not fancy. Has the feel of a bed and breakfast, minus the breakfast. The owners are very friendly. The hotel is extremely well located in that it’s just on the edge of “old town”. The beach, st George was maybe a 30 minute walk. Temple of Apolo, 10 minutes

The Apollon Hotel oozes 'character'. From its vaste collection of antique and vintage furniture, my double room had two wonderful terraces and was spacious and comfortable. I was impressed that befs in the hotel have electric underblankets which keep you warm all night during winter temperatures. Split air conditioning for heat was also very helpful in keeping warm. The location of the hotel is amaxing, two minutes walk to the orthodox cathedral and the on site metropolis museum; five minutes walk to the ferry port where ai took the blue star ferry to Paros for the day and a well stocked international supermarket 'Pantelis & Co' within 3 minutes walk. I emphasise the importance of having such a supermarket near by the hotel as there us no breakfast served during the winter months. There is an electric kettle in the room as well as tea, milk and coffee and I also used the boiling water to make instant porridge/oatmeal in the morning and instant 'cup of soups' from sachets with a sandwidch in the evenings. My room was cleaned daily and towels changed if requested by the guest. While there is no one present at reception during the winter, the owner George was reachable 24/7 by mobile phone and gave me his telephone number when I arrived at the hotel. Overall, good value for money and tge electric blankets were a welcome touch!

Nice room, strong AC, good balcony space and most important the kindest staffs! Quick walk to near by restaurants and the port. Thank you so much for the staffs’ assistance when we got into a mini car accident this trip, they were really very kind to us.
