We accidentally found this fabulous hotel due to sudden change of our vacation plan. Hotel is located in very calm quiet area within 10 km from Sigiriya local ticketing office. They offered fresh passionfruit juice on arrival, and made the most delicious breakfast every morning that was probably the best spread all trip. Even though we already had many activities already planned, he offered any help as needed. What I really love about it is the serenity. It is close enough to restaurants, but far away enough from the main drag...

The property was set just about 2mins from the main highway, making it very quiet. We loved that we couldn't hear any vehicles at all.
The property was filled with lots of trees and we could hear and see peacocks many times during the day freely roaming around.
The restaurant was very clean and spacious. We liked the breakfast very much. The staff was very courteous as well.

This property is pretty unique in its location, away from "the rest of the world". You really are in nature, surrounded by nothing else than rice paddies, lake, and such a variety of birds. It is peaceful, staff are very friendly and helpful, food is excellent and will accommodate vegetarian and gluten free needs. There is nothing I can fault our experience on!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Food and drinks are good to very good. The pool is wonderful and the grounds well kept.
Beware the guides and venders and Tuc tuc drivers at Sigiriya Rock. They will overcharge dramatically if allowed. You need to be good at bargaining in Sri Lanka. (Which I am not but learning quick). Agree on price in advance. Ask hotel manager or staff for help. Don't be afraid to use the bus. I found it fun to ride and easy to catch and a super bargain.

We had a beautiful and peaceful stay at this property. The pool is exquisite and the rooms are so cool and beautiful. The wildlife is astounding and it was so tranquil to quietly watch it unfold around us. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well, arranging for us a trip to Lion Rock.
