"If you want a true Italian family experience then a stay at BnB La Mortella is the answer. We considered staying in Paestum to be close to the great temples but knowing that La Mortella was only 20 minutes away convinced us to try something different during our Italia tour. The BnB was a bit hard to find but once we were there it was worth seeking. Antonio and his family also work the land with citrus and olive groves dominating the landscape. "A pretty amazing place. Looks very luxurious, the restaurant and the meal was super fancy and yet very reasonably priced. We couldn’t understand why the place was mostly empty, but we stayed mid-week, and the place clearly caters to Italians (even the spa menu was only in Italian). The air-conditioning in the room was not very strong and very noisy, but otherwise very nice room. "

"This was a perfect overnight accommodation for us to stop and visit the Paestum Archaeological Park, traveling up from Sicily to Naples. The room was just what we needed. The staff were super kind and helpful. They offered a nice dinner in their restaurant, and breakfast was included the next morning before we walked just a few minutes down the road to the park and were permitted to leave our car there so we would not have to pay additional parking fees!"

"We attended a wedding in Capaccio. The bride and groom suggested this hotel. It is so tastefully done. Even though it is only about 10 years old it appears authentic. The restaurant was superb and the proprietor and staff were exceptional with their caring. It is a family operation and they are charming. The views were magnificent with water views including the Isle of Capri in the distance. The beds were comfortable and rooms are spacious. We enjoyed the pool as it was a warm time of year. I highly recommend this hotel and their staff!"
