「A very nice B&B in a peaceful location and a pub is just a walking distance away! There is a court yard within the compound where one can relax. We enjoyed our one night stay here and enjoyed our full English breakfast. Thank you.」

「Helpful staff & smooth check in. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. The pub itself was good for food competitively priced, which can be ordered thru the app (along with drinks) The drinks we had an issue with - there were drinks on the app that weren’t available at the bar, the glasses had lipstick marks on them so washing is an issue & we were served a Fentiman’s Dandelion & Burdock drink 6 months out of date so stock rotation is a problem here. Our room only had a fan to keep...

「We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....

「The room wasn’t clean, the headboard on the bed was worn and ripped, underneath the bed was filthy and full of hairs, a previous guests glasses were left in the room, a small used soap bar used unhygienic and not enough for 2 guests, other items were also not replenished, despite having a previous stay at this hotel which was good this one did not live up to the previous standard and the member of staff on reception was also quite rude」

「I keep telling myself it’s cheap and cheerful, and it is to some degree.. but it has a 4* sign as you drive in, and this just isn’t the case. Rooms are run down and have needed upgrading for years. The swimming pool has been “ under maintenance” on the 3 occasions I have stayed over the years, so I just question whether it is ever open. The carpets needed hoovering in the hallways and our room. It’s a shame because the bar/ kitchen staff seem to work really hard with what they have and are...

Would definitely recommend for a quiet restful holiday. Lincoln, Newark and Nottingham easily accessible form this location. 」
