I would love to share my appreciation for Joy at Shilla Stay Guro. I arrived in Korea very early in the morning after being away for almost 10 years. So much time had passed that I barely remembered my way around, and I honestly didn’t know where to go at that hour. I wasn’t expecting to check in early. I was just hoping the hotel could store my luggage until check-in time. However, I was also feeling really unwell and desperately needed some rest. That’s when Joy at the concierge desk helped me. She kindly explained everything and arranged an early check-in so I could get some rest. What touched me the most was that she noticed I wasn’t feeling well and, without me even asking, thoughtfully assigned me a room on the quieter side of the hotel. It may have seemed like a small gesture, but it meant so much to me, especially after such a long journey and being back in Korea for the first time in 10 years. I truly appreciated not only her help but also her genuine thoughtfulness. Joy made my first morning back in Korea much more comfortable than I could have hoped for. Thank you so much, Joy, for your kindness and warm hospitality. I won’t forget it!

Clean room, excellent water pressure, friendly and helpful staff who answered my questions via app, location is near Myeongdong. However we returned to one particular Korean BBQ restaurant a few minutes walk from the hotel. Laundry in the basement gave clear instructions on how to operate macines and how to pay.
