Brand New, Modern Style 1 BED 1 BATH Cottage, [Gated Compound].

Let the sun shine while you're on vacation with this brand new modern style cottage. Prepare your favorite meals by utilizing the fully equipped kitchen and grill by the patio area. Kitchen appliances include a full size fridge/ freezer, microwave, stove, coffee machine and toaster. Sip some coffee by the pool, listen to the ocean and feel the island breeze. This unit comes with a queen size bedroom inclusive of closet, dresser and nightstand. This bedroom also comes with two comfy pillows and a 55” HD television with surround sound for you to either host or enjoy. The unit comes equipped with free WIFI and cable television which includes all news channels. Outside may be warm but the inside of the unit comes equipped with an air conditioned ductless unit to be used at your leisure.
This cottage is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 5 minute drive to and from the airport.
There is a quality supermarket just 10 minutes away and a gas station in either direction. Close by are also various restaurants and coffee shops.
Atlantis Paradise Island is a 15 minutes drive from this location
Bahamar Resort is a 15 minute drive.
The luxurious Albany is just a 15 minute drive
This unit is kids friendly but adult supervision is strictly enforced when using the pool facility.
This unit is located in the western district through the quiet neighborhood of Tropical Gardens.
Car rental accommodations are available upon request. If your preference is to book your vehicle yourself there are local rental car companies such as Avis and Budget just ten minutes away.
If not Taxis are also available upon request.
If you're looking for some fun such as fishing, island hopping, swimming with the pigs and swimming with the nursing sharks. We provide sea adventures through the company [Shore to Shore Excursions]. Check out their website or Instagram page for viewing.

Host's communication was terrible from the beginning. We were held up immigration because he gave us very vague information without a proper address.Room was filthy and had spiders. This room is far from what was advertised. We did not check-in nor did I receive a refund. Very embarrassed that my girlfriend had to be shown such a nasty property on her birthday.

We were super upset, didn’t like it at all very small is not for 4 people and everything was dirty. It was super difficult to get in contact with the host. If you have kids I will not recommend this property. Nothing was close to the place, we didn’t even stay there. We got a hotel and am still waiting for my refund.

Poor description

Check in was at 4pm. We were never told how to get to the property or how to get in. The link attached to the page brought you to a complete different area. I found the owners number who stated the previous tenant had a lay check out and the housekeeper would not be there for an hour. There we sat in the driveway for 3 hours until someone let us in. We did not receive the code to get in the gate or the door. Does not respond to msgs on VRBO but was responsive on WhatsApp. Luckily I had the app. Also states it sleep 2-4 people which it maybe sleeps 3 if someone doesn’t mind sleeping on a mini couch. Property was not worth the price.

Not as good as it looks......

This place is very small - similar to an efficiency apartment. The photos make it appear as though this is a private pool - but it is shared with other residents. The covered area with the outdoor furniture was filled with cobwebs and generally unkempt. It felt as though this was used as an active and ongoing meeting place as there was numerous bottles of liquor in the cabinets. There are several dogs in cages around the property - they are never let out and bark continuously needing attention. It was difficult to get any sleep. When the property manager asked how my stay was going - I expressed concern about the barking and got no response. I love dogs, but I was here on a work visa and needed to get some sleep - which was difficult. As I am trying to end on a high - The shower had very good water pressure though. Overall - dissatisfied with this place.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay. All is as advertised. Private pool and all appliances. We walked there from airport, so it’s a plus if you don’t have a car. Beach is about 10 min walk. Owner is nice and responsive. There are also electric scooters for rent on the property. Neighborhood itself is quiet and safe.
