This is a private APARTMENT that is the 1st level of the three-level 5,500 ft2 home. The owners live in the 2 levels above the apartment. It has its own entrance and is totally separated from the balance of the home. The apartment is 1,700 ft2.
The setting provides a feeling of being away from it all, yet you can get to downtown Nashville in 25 to 30 minutes.
The private 1st level of the home has floor to ceiling French windows with panoramic views of giant oaks, turkeys, birds & deer. Over 1,700 ft2 of living space with pool table, table tennis & Yamaha Keyboard. All seating in the great room reclines for comfortable relaxation by a wood stove. There is a large bedroom that has a King bed with designer fabrics & a sofa, with a walk-in closet. There is a large fully equipped kitchen, & There is a Queen bed in the recreation area. We are only minutes to downtown Nashville where antique shops, restaurants, & wineries abound. We are 19 miles away from the Grand Ole Opry & other attractions are nearby as well.
We have a beautiful pond with four waterfalls with a delightful sound of water. There you will also find a flagstone patio with an umbrella table with four chairs as well as two Adirondack style chairs.
There is a large private patio area with abundant seating that includes a patio table with 4 chairs, 2 sky chairs, a Teakwood two seat swing where you can enjoy the beautiful setting and views of nature. There is also a propane grill for your barbequing pleasure.
There are two TV's, a 55" and 40" flat screen, and a DVR in the living room. We also have Netflix. High speed internet - 50mbps WiFi & Ethernet.

The home is located on 5 acres with a hillside setting so you can enjoy walks on the property as well. We also have a long hillside paved driveway that has a flat section where you can walk for exercise. Additionally, within walking distance, a few minutes from the home, there is a beautiful lake and other awesome scenes that include horses., and a barn. there is also a new walking park about two miles east of our home.

Nice place for a stay near Nashville

I appreciate the full kitchen. The dishwasher worked well. The outside was nice for the teens. They loved the frogs so much! There were multiple places for sleeping including 2 beds, 3 couches and a queen blow up mattress.

Lovely Getaway!!!

The outdoors is absolutely beautiful! As you enter the driveway your first greeter"Buddy" is waiting in front of the garage to greet you. When you step onto the grounds you're drawn down to the seating area at the falls. Upon entering you're greeted with a beautiful open space. The wildlife that will come up to feed was beautiful sight. LoL, the only thing that separated us was glass. The turkeys, squirrels, rabbits, deers and birds were all happy to receive treats. Btw, so were we. Christina's brownies were delicious. The beds are very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower and the temperature of the water is spot on. This is a place where you can retreat to just for a peaceful retreat. Gary, don't forget what I said to you during our first encounter... We'll be back!

Relaxing in the Country

Great location far enough from the city but also close enough

More than ample space for two people with all the amenities of your own home. Very pleasant stay and could relax at the property and did not have the cramped feeling of a hotel room.

Beautiful place, make sure you read the listing :)

The property is beautiful, the place is clean, cozy, and smells good. Beds are comfy and there are nice places to sit and relax and look at nature. We missed the part where the owners are upstairs- totally on us though. It’s clearly stated at the beginning of the description, we just missed that part. It didn’t change the experience of our stay at all. The owners had brownies for us on the table with a handwritten note that felt so personal and was a great touch that made us feel at home. Would absolutely come back!!

Mislead

Brutal directions to get in. Door code was wrong and I couldn’t find the basement to get in the door. It was a basement apartment that I rented with the owners staying upstairs. Was very awkward.

Magical Christmas getaway

Since my children are almost all grown up, we've been renting out VRB's vs hotels for more space and privacy for my family. We came to visit my cousin and her family Plus do some tourist attractions in Nashville. Your place was perfect for our little getaway. Loved the billiards table, my boys enjoyed it and the piano. The apartment had pretty much everything anyone needs for a successful getaway. The unit had comfortable beds, couches, blankets, pillows to make the stay more enjoyable and comfortable. The hosts were very kind and thoughtful and professional. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some getaway place. husband and the kids.

Great little hideaway close to Nashville!

Loved the relaxing stay here. Watching the deer in the morning/evening was my favorite part. Close to some cool antique stores we went by, and close enough to walmart/target for our last minute needs. Will be booking another stay next time for a girls trip to Nashville!

Total Serinity

The directions arriving had Welcome signs (parking spot & walk way). The patio setting was so beautiful and serine, I spent most of my time out there. The layout for the living area, dining, kitchen gave you a wonderful warm country feel. The master bedroom is large and very comfortable with lots of pillows and a duvet to snuggle under. Having a washer/dryer was great, we had a lot of pre-plans so we didn't get to play pool on the beautiful pool table. I can't say enough about this lovely setting and our hosts. We will return and I am sharing this little piece of paradise 15 minutes from Nashville with all our friends and family.

Best of the Best

Cynthia & Gary are so amazing. This was our 25 year anniversary and they made it extremely special for us. From the beginning, they communicated with us and were extremely informative about places to visit to make this trip special. The property is beautiful and the apartment is so clean and decorated in a way that makes you feel like you are in your own home. No need to pack anything but clothes and items for your hygiene, because it has everything else to cover your needs. The location is a short drive to Nashville, but also is in a nice, quaint town where you can find other nice restaurants you won’t find anywhere else. There is a bird feeding sanctuary and porch swings and other comfy sitting options on the porch or near the beautiful pond with a fountain. The owners were beyond accommodating and truly love sharing this portion of their home to help others make special memories. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. You will not be disappointed. We will be back! There are other wonderful things they did to make us feel so special, but I don’t want to ruin the surprise for others. Please treat yourself to a few days here. You won’t want to leave. It’s perfect!

Peaceful and Tranquil Setting

The accommodations were clean and spacious, well appointed with high quality furnishings, dinnerware, appliances, and decorations. Bed was king size and comfortable. Bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water; shower has great water pressure and is ADA compliant. Safe countryside location with landscaping around the property that is beautiful and very well maintained, with plenty of space to rest, relax, and unwind. Morning coffee on the patio greeted us with birds, squirrels, wild turkey, and roosters crowing in the distance. Evening drinks were accompanied by visiting deer. Host provided a very comprehensive binder containing detailed and helpful information regarding the property, use of property amenities, and check-out procedures. Several dining options and shopping just a short and very scenic drive away. My wife and I have stayed at several great Vrbo properties over the last few years - this property was by far, THE BEST. Our hosts were gracious, communicative and most of all, went above and beyond to make our visit truly enjoyable, comfortable, and memorable.

Peaceful, very cozy and comfortable

Our stay was everything that we were looking for and everything that the owners had described. It was so peaceful and the wildlife was so fun to be a part of. The place was very clean and everything was provided for us. Its location is secluded, but Nashville is within short drive. We stayed for 6 days and 5 nights. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this property!!

Quiet place for those who love nature and wildlife

We were in Nashville for a family wedding and stayed here for 5 nights. We weren't at the property a lot because of lots of family activities, but when we were it was quiet and enough space for us. The only downside is the 2nd bedroom is really a bed that is curtained off from the main living area, but we managed. Christine was very friendly and helpful. We had to add a our 16-year-old nephew for a couple of nights after we got there and it wasn't an issue and we were charged the extra person rate which Christine told me about when I informed her of the change. Our nephew and daughter enjoyed the pool table a lot when we were in for a night. The wildlife is amazing on the property: saw deer, wild turkeys, squirrels, chipmunks(?), frogs, fireflies, and LOTS of birds. If you're an early riser, take your coffee and sit on the front porch (very still, of course) and watch the critters doing their morning routine.

New baby

We were in the area to help our daughter and her young family after the birth of baby #2. This place is the perfect place to come to enjoy quiet and calm after a hectic day. It was also a great beginning to each morning, enjoying coffee on the patio and watching all the wildlife.
