「We stayed only one night, but we wished we could have stayed longer. The house was very spacious and clean. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend it to anyone who would like to book this home. 」

「It was a cute cottage on the lake although not extremely clean and very cold . Hot water only lasts about 5ish minutes. Besides that excellent stay and made me consider moving upstate .」

This space/property is the perfect natural oasis/escape from the city; it was exactly what we were looking for, gorgeous natural light, lots of windows, a huge yard, tons of nature/animals, fire pit, hiking nearby, the river access is perfect and even an active bald eagle nest! I slept like a baby the entire trip. Checking in/out was easy. We absolutely will be coming back for round two asap - highly recommend staying here ! 」

「It is what it is. I am way too old to be doing that style of camping anymore. Just not for me. There was a lot of communication when I booked but haven't heard anything since. I didn't realize some of the things when I booked it.I guess I didn't read or it wasn't there.I don't know. But that hike in and out kinda sucked! The toilet is so crooked.It's hard to go to the bathroom. I get roughing it and camping isn't glamorous?But there's a few things that could make this just a little bit nicer of...

「The house was shabby, not well maintained. The washer and dryer were in a storage shed filled with stuff.The septic system backed up during the night. We had only flushed toilet paper. The bathtubs filled with raw sewage and none of the toilets worked. This was repaired late in the afternoon, so the house was unusable for the most of the day. We had to leave that morning so we had access to working bathrooms. I received NO compensation for this gross inconvenience. 」

We came to spread my brother’s ashes, and the house was right around the corner from where his shop used to be. It was like it was meant to be. This was the perfect place for us to stay.
