The ancient building is located in the heart of the historic center of Nardò, where noble residences and buildings of historical-architectural value are concentrated, as well as numerous places where you can taste the characteristic dishes of Apulian cuisine. Nardò is a town in Salento rich in history and architecture, located a few kilometers from the Ionian Sea and the Porto Selvaggio Natural Park, which has been undergoing a revitalization phase for about 15 years. Many historical buildings have been purchased and renovated by people from other Italian and foreign locations, and thanks also to the enlightened contribution of the Municipal Administration, it is transforming into a destination for quality tourism. The structure is spread over several levels: access is through an entrance gate with a Gothic arch, leading to a small inner courtyard paved with basalt blocks. From here, French doors lead to the entrance living room and kitchen. On the ground floor, there are three bedrooms with private bathrooms, characterized by vaulted star ceilings in local stone and antique cement floors. A staircase leads to the first floor, where the fourth bedroom is located, featuring a large shower area, a magnificent vaulted ceiling, and a 19th-century terrazzo floor. From the first-floor terrace, which also has an outdoor shower, you can access the rooftop terrace, from which you can admire some of the most important buildings in the historic center. This terrace is divided into two areas: a solarium, made with a large platform covered in wooden slats supporting large cushions, and a pergola, where the kitchen is situated under a structure in iron covered with curtains. The floor of this terrace is made of ancient local limestone slabs. The house, designed by a well-known architect and featured in industry magazines, is characterized by a mix of vintage and contemporary design furniture, enriched with numerous contemporary artworks."
