"Great place for a short stay or longer. Super quaint center of town hotel, close to shopping, great cozy vibe, friendly staff and the breakfast included was great. Convenient parking behind hotel. "
"Location is great for the town and if you cant find any parking on the street there is a carpark about 5min walk away @ £3 - 24hrs.
Property is currently up for sale and needs a little work but the bathroom and kitchen are relatively new and everything else has had a lick of paint just needs a bit of modernising and the garden needs work and isnt secure at the back meaning the dog needed to be let out on a lead every time but did us for the short break we had."
"Wonderful, spotlessly clean cottage that had everything we needed, in a great place to explore the stunning coastlines and landscapes.
Very friendly and helpful hosts, who had kindly provided a little hamper of essentials for our arrival. Would definitely recommend. "
"A good stay on a lovely estate. The lidge was adequate for our needs and the dig lived the walks and the exercise field. Bedrooms were great and the beds very comfortable. Note. There is no washing machine and the on site pub isnt trading. "

10/10 Excellent
"Very helpful and pleasant staff, without exception. Clean rooms. Plenty of hot water, shower could have been a bit more powerful, but more than adequate. Only slight downside, the corridors smelt a little musty. But this didn’t detract from the stay. Would definitely recommend. "
"Generally very good.
One night stay for a car show at Carmarthen Showground.
Parking - access i stight to some spaces but plenty to chose from.
Check-in - good, friendly, polite an dquite quick.
Entry to room - this let the stay down, the room had not been cleaned from previous guests, check-in staff very concerned and helpful, asked to wait in the bar whilst room was prepared and free round of drinks due to issue.
Room - comfortable but needs a little attention e.g. with toilet lid up you couldn't fully push the flush handle and socket panel above dressing table was very 'flexible', also difficulty finding how to turn off all lights as 2 wall lights are operated by a fused switch on the socket panel above the dressing table.
Bar - with 2 functions on there was only 1 barman, he could have used some help to keep the queue down.
Food - standard pub type food, we all enjoyed it.
Sleep - very compfy bed and pillows and only distant road noise with the window wide open.
Apart from the room not being clean any other less positive points above are very minor. We had a very nice stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again."
"Lovely Manor House style hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Good food, comfy bed, lovely room and bathroom. If you like modern then don’t bother but if you like a bit of class great. "
"We stayed for one night whilst travelling through. The staff we met were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was fresh, tasteful, well equipped and very clean. We had a full cooked breakfast which was perfectly cooked and the service was faultless. We would definitely stay again and have no hesitation in recommending The Spilman Hotel.
We marked down comfort slightly from Excellent to Good because we had a very hot night (August) the fan in room was very welcome but not sure if our mattress was memory foam or not but, although comfortable, we did find it hot to sleep on. Just our personal preference. "
"Great location, smart decor.
Lovely room with Marina view, staff were all friendly and helpful.
Really nice bar/restaurant too.
Would definitely recommend & would stay there again when in the area."
"Everything was amazing. The only feedback I have is I booked through Expedia which states parking is complimentary, but I was charged £5 as per the hotels policy "
"The hotel has recently had a renovation and oh my what a result. The room we had was a cosy sea view room. It had everything we needed and more. It was 27C the day we stayed so the air-con was very welcomed indeed! I highly recommend this hotel. "
