This flat works fine for a couple, and the tall ceilings give the impression of more space. If the weather is good, the deck off the top-floor bedroom would be a nice place to relax and have a glass of wine while enjoying the ocean view. It's very quiet in the bedroom, and we slept well. It's nice to have a bathroom on both floors of the flat too. The kitchen works great, and it's just large enough to prepare simple dishes. The flat is very clean too.
We just parked the car after arrival in the space we reserved with the host, Veronique, and used the funiculars and metro to get around town. Vomero is a nice neighborhood and has pedestrian-only roads on some streets for strolling and watching the world go by.
Our communications with Veronique were great, and driving to the flat was a challenge even with Google Maps running on the mobile. If driving, Via Aniello Falcone is a one-way street, and finding #56 is tough to find on the wall. A better landmark is the illuminated small sign on the right side of the street for Suono Libero Music, which is easier to spot. Turn into the passageway immediately to the left of this sign. Go straight about 50 meters, follow the road as it turns right, go straight another 50 meters, and then turn left to drop down about 10 feet and wrap around running in the opposite direction. The flat is straight ahead at the green gate at the end of the lane about 100 meters or so along the alley. Good luck and be prepared to back up so that oncoming cars can get around you.
We enjoyed our 5 nights spent at this flat, and would return again in the future. There's a lot to do and see in Naples, and it makes a good starting point for a day-trip to Pompeii too.
