This hotel was awesome, free laundry service, super friendly staff, they even took the time to help me checkin for my flight since the airline was all in chinese which i couldn't read. the location was perfect it was literally in the middle of the nightmarket which had tonnes of food options. Would definitely come back here the next time i'm in Beijing.

I have very mixed feelings about our stay:
Positives:
- location (close to subway,
supermarket next door,etc)
- friendly and helpful reception staff
(don't really speak English but use a
translator device and keen to help).
- big room with a separate area for kids
Negatives:
- overall decor and cleanliness
- as children stay free no amenities
were provided for them. Had to ask
for bedding and towels on arrival. Their
bed never got made or enough towels
left.
- very rude staff in the breakfast bar
(apart from the young guy on a couple of mornings)
- rooms only cleaned superficially, sink and floor dirty, mushrooms sprouting in the shower.
- limited breakfast options for western palates, not much variety from day to day.
- no free ice-cream in lobby. My kids were disappointed. We stayed for 9 days and it wasn't available once. Don't advertise if you're not going to restock it.

The room was cleaned everyday, and the staff was extremely friendly. They greeted us every time we walk down from our room or walk into the hotel. On our check in day they delivered fresh fruit plate to our door which was really lovely. The location is also convenient as it is located in the middlef of south luo gu north gate alley. There was many shops located along the alley hence it made shopping experience more fun-filled. The hotel also provide laundry service and we are able to get our clothes back by the end of the day. I would 100% recommend this hotel!!
