We had to stay in this area as there were no more accommodations available near the festivals. Yes, it was a 2 hour train ride! Hotel is mediocre, lots of convenience stores located nearby. Izakaya stalls are also nearby, lots to choose from. We didn't like the smell of the room, it was muggy and smelled like cigarettes. The bathroom is a bit tight, but alright. It is elevated too, so watch your steps. Laundry stall, breakfast for a fee are available. Not much to see around the area if you ask us. We had to take taxis to board at the main train station. You don't want to miss the Takoyaki place that is nearby (first photo). Walk a bit and enjoy the sunset by the bridge.

The room was actually a trailer- which was unexpected. It was kind of very tight. The sofa bed was pretty uncomfortable and blocked the whole rooms. Kind of tripping hazard if the others want to use the bathroom at night. The facility was very clean. The onsen was very nice.

This is a small hotel in a rural area of Japan. It is excellent for what it is. The staff is attentive and friendly. However, the rooms are small and they’re a little older. Everything works fine. It is one of the better hotels in the area. Is it located an easy walk to some of the great restaurants and places to shop. However, don’t expect to see a lot of foreigners and learn a few words of Japanese.
