"There is no amenities. The rooms were okay. Beds are old spring beds so not the easiest to stay in long term. Staff are decently super happy. Our stay was very full and had some dramatic neighbors and the staff didn't want to deal with it."

"We came over for just a quick little over night getaway for our 4th anniversary and we definitely had an amazing time! The staff were very welcoming and went over and above by giving us a beautiful room over looking the ocean which the view was breathtaking as well as a yummy treat of Nanaimo’s famous bars in our fridge. Since we were limited to whereabouts to go as we didn’t have our vehicle we had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Although they were out of a couple of items we were thinking of ordering the meal turned out to be better than expected and our waitress was great even paying for a dessert for our anniversary. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay along the harbour in Nanaimo and I know if we make it back this way again we will be for sure. Make sure to get the ocean view!!"

"Stall accommodated my Expedia request for an early check in, as we flew in by seaplane at noon. That was perfect after a long morning of travelling. Front desk staff helpful in pointing out attractions and shopping and dining. However we ate twice in the hotel’s restaurant as the food as service was great. This must be a fun place to work, even the housekeeping staff were above and beyond"

"I’ve never written a review until now. This place was filthy. Immediately upon walking in, clumps of hair all over the floor, mysterious splatters on walls and doors, the bathroom felt more unclean than your average public restroom. If you stay here, bring shower shoes. We checked out and last minute booked a room elsewhere. The photos online did NOT represent the room we were given in the slightest. Curtain also has mysterious black colouring that the other rooms didn’t have. It really just felt like they restocked the soap and towels and sprayed the room with febreeze. Other than that, the woman at the front desk was kind and check in was easy."
