Our bedroom and bathroom were spacious, well decorated and clean. Staff were exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. A truly relaxing and enjoyable weekend - highly recommended."

"Lots of good, more recent replenishments, like the bathroom, the dining area, and the great swimming pool, hot tub, saunas. Nice well-tended gardens. Great service. But a lot of windows painted immovably shut. And the food was a big let-down. We arrived on Sunday for Sunday dinner at 8, couldn't eat our mains. Breakfasts had the feel of having sat a long time after cooking, bacon burnt to a crisp on 2 out of 4 breakfasts."

"Would have given 5 stars but on arrival found we had to use a lot of stairs , my fault for not asking before hand. Location was excellent. Rooms clean and comfortable. Denise ( owner) was very pleasant and friendly."

"The hotel is in the middle of being taken over, this has restricted the menu. Overall, the place needs to be given a good spruce up and some better matrices for the beds,. The staff are very helpful "
