「Staff is great. Rooms are clean. There are plenty of great shops nearby and many within walking distance of the motel. The beach is just steps from your back door, with a great view. I love the back porch of the rooms.」

「This is our second time staying at the Sand Spur and we love it. The staff is helpful and kind. The place is clean and well maintained for being right on the beach. Location is excellent! Just walk bare feet to the beach. Pool is small but just what you need. 「The parking lot is definitely tight and requires you to turn around in a tight space. I don’t recommend bringing big cars. Most of the rooms overlook parking lots on both sides so we had to keep the shades closed most of the time. That being said it was super clean. They provide a great number of towels which was appreciated - and they were super soft. The property was old but that allows you to be right on the beach with beach access so it’s a great trade up. We get poolside rooms, because they are all 1st floor, ocean side can be 2nd floor (no elevator).You literally walk through a breeze way and your on the beach. Staff are friendly, restaurants are in walking distance and pool is kept clean. We highly recommend!」
