Wide Beaches and Great Ocean Views from this seaside cottage closer to the beach than most Ocean Front Cottages. See the surf, smell it, practically feel it in this adorable cottage just steps to the beach. You can keep an eye on the kids playing on the beach from the cottage. Papa's Place is in immaculate condition and very well-equipped and furnished for your convenience. The location is set back well off the Beach Road with privacy yet so close to the beach allowing you to relax without worries about the kids or the pets. There is also a convenient ground level store-room for your beach gear and a private, hot & cold out-side shower. The 11 mile post section of Nags Head is a great location of smaller family cottages and nice wide beaches perfect for a family vacation. Families will find the quiet low-traffic non-commercial atmosphere relaxing yet appreciate how easy it is to drive or even walk to the grocery store, restaurants, the Outer Banks family YMCA, or a putt-putt course. The large multi-use path that parallels the Beach Road is great for running, biking, or the walker in the family. Jockeys Ridge State Park and the sand dunes are just a mile south. Papa's Place is a great combination of accessibility and privacy with lots of diversions and commercial outlets not too far away!

Nice stay in May

My wife and I with our dog had a nice stay in May. It’s a short walk to the beach and the gazebo. The hot tub was full of sand and had not been cleaned recently. Only used it once. Fairly small house but convenient to stores and restaurants.
