We were able to do a load of laundry and also relax on the comfortable couch to watch some TV on the large projection. Good location to walk to several sites and catch public transportation. "Location is excellent, next to covered shopping streets, near tram line, walking distance to castle. Staff were very helpful and professional. Room was pretty spacious for a business-style hotel. Breakfast buffet was very good, with some local specialties added — need a toaster that actually toasts, though. Breakfast staff were super hardworking and polite. Overall, a solid choice and good value for the money for our two night stay in Kumamoto."

"Another nice stay at an APA hotel. The room was tiny, the TV was huge...all is right in the world. (But seriously, it would be REALLY nice to be able to access the TV's settings to enable video game mode on an HDMI input; without it, Tears of the Kingdom was making me REALLY motion sick.)
Negatives:
The hotel really doesn't care when you'll be out of the room -- they want you to vacate EVERY THREE DAYS FROM 10AM TO 3PM FOR CLEANING. (Emphasis theirs.) Right, sorry...I'll leave. But...

"Room felt dated. Good size for three beds (one was a sofa bed). Enough space for luggage to be opened (3 carry ons) and shoes spread out. Closest laundromat was a aboya 10 min walk. Very close to Kumamoto castle ."
