"My husband and I stayed one night here in May. We had a lovely King room which was quiet, clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The TV reception quality was not so great. As always, the pool is excellent but there are not enough seating options around the area, it could do with more loungers. The staff wete exceptionally helpful."

"Let's start with the positives: the lobby, restaurant, grounds and pool area are very nice, clean and well maintained. The staff was very nice and helpful. The daily breakfast had a lot to offer, and the omelets were delicious. The restaurant had a nice selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices and the portions were very large. I think 2 people could easily split an entree. The day spa is excellent. The wifi signal was strong and dependable. Now, for what could be improved: my room was shabby and really needed a refresh(which is why this hotel got 3 stars from me). The bed was very uncomfortable and the lighting was poor. The bathroom needs to be replaced. The shower didn't have a curtain or door. It had a handheld nozzle, which I like, but the holder to put it in while washing was not on tightly and the nozzle moved all around so the water went everywhere since there wasn't a door to keep the water in the shower. The floor of the shower was quite slippery and there was no safety bar to hold. Obviously the location can't be changed, and I chose this location to save money. Plus I was taking day tours that offered pick ups so I didn't think it would be a problem. And it wasn't so much, but I will tell you that it's on a very busy road without sidewalks, so I did not feel comfortable walking around to find dinner. However, I just ate at the hotel, which was fine with me."

"We arrived early and eventually were told that due to a glitch in the system they were overbooked. We were moved to their sister property next door, The Palms. It was very lovely, but I have no idea about The Terraces."

"Cannot fault our stay at the Sofitel Resort and Spa. From the moment we checked in until we checked out it was faultless. The staff would go above and beyond with a smile on their face. The room, food options, hospitality and activities were fantastic. Will definitely be staying again in the future."

"The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, which we really appreciated. However, the facility itself is in need of a significant upgrade. Our bathroom did not meet expected standards the shower had very poor water flow, and when set to hot, no water came out at all. As a result, we were forced to take cold showers, which was quite inconvenient. Considering this is a 4-star hotel and not a budget option, we expected a much higher standard of maintenance and overall quality."
